Photography Workshops
Picture Me: Documentary Photography for Kids
This lively, fun-filled session is designed to help young people combine photography with their own unique voice to tell an autobiographical story. The class begins with instructions on how to use a digital and/or disposable film camera. Throughout the day students will be encouraged to work together, taking each others portraits and providing input and insight for a narrative. As we eat lunch our film/image cards are processed and the remainder of the class time is used to discuss, edit and present our final projects.
